What is the fee for your service?
Administrative Fee - $300
Application fee (individual & qualify a business) - $468 OR $308 if any part of exam was passed after January 2009
Personal credit report - $35
Business credit report  - $50
*$57.25 Background check fee - You pay to the Promissor at the time of fingerprinting
(Checks and money orders accepted only at this time)


When do I pay?
We ask that you make a deposit for half ($150.00) of the administrative fee soon after you send your questionnaire. 

How long will the process take?
The preparation of the Florida contractors license or builders license application takes approximately 2 weeks.  After the application is hand delivered to the Board Office, the process typically takes anywhere from 30-45 days. This of course varies from contractor to contractor and greatly depends on your background and complexity of your application.
